Uncomfortable Situation

There is a little boy in my class that has a crush on me. He's in the third grade.
Sometimes he writes me letters asking me to marry him. But today it went a little further.
He asked me to marry him and then said that we could make babies, he would bring me flowers
and cook dinner, and we would eat while in the hot tub. Again, he's in the third grade,
and is in a special needs class. I stopped it at this point and I told him that it was good writing but that he needs to
pick a different subject to write about, that this topic is NOT ok to write about.
So many of these kids aren't kids. Such as the incident that I told you about yesterday.
It makes me sad

Some People Are Annoying

So yesterday I went to tutoring after school like usual, and guess what? The girl didn't show again. This is the 7th time in a row that she has not shown up. I wait for half and hour, call her house while I am there and there is no answer, so I go home.
I call again a few hours later, this is how the conversation ensues:
"Hello is Mia there"
"is this Angela's Tutor?"
"yes, it is."
"Angela and I were at the library today and you didn't come."
"Ma'am I was there, I actually stayed until 3:00, and tutoring was supposed to start at 2:30"
"Well, my other children have tutors and this has never been problem before, you seem to leave right away if we are not there, Angela has a different situation at home and sometimes we cannot get there right at the time."
Ma'am I do not leave right when I get to the Library. Like I said I stayed for half and hour today and most of the time I have stayed the entire hour waiting for you, Just so YOU know I do not get compensated for my time waiting or for my gas going to the library waiting every day. I have tried and am currently trying to work this out."
(more annoyed comments from the sister, not even the mother)
"OK Just to specify we will be meeting at the Blah Blah Library, in the Lobby at 2:00."
"Melissa thinks that you are going to be mad at her"
"Tell Melissa that I am not mad at her and look forward to seeing her tomorrow"

All this to say, some people are so flipping annoying. I am sorry did I not write down a schedule and hand it to you so you would know when Melissa needs to be at the library? Did I not call you everytime you did not show up to see if something was going on? Did I not clarify and repeat the schedule to you everytime I spoke with you? Did you not say at one point that Angela was on her way, only to have me sitting in the library for an additional 40 mins. while you did not show up?

Tutoring starts today! BOO

24

Hi, So how late did you stay up watching it last night?
I wanted to sleep more when I woke up this morning, which is funny because I went to bed at 10:30 and did absolutely nothing yesterday. Oh well. Maybe I need to drink more coffee.
Today has been an exciting day. I do computer work for the teacher I work with because shd doesn't know how. So I installed a font program for her and have been playing with that for most of the morning. I was also 20 minutes late. Not only due to traffic but because I just left late,
You know what I think I could be late every morning and blame it on traffic. Technically I could get here in 20 minutes. So I do allow enough time to get to work, but the strangest thing is that there IS traffic every single day. This is a shit argument, but I think there might be some validity to it, but my head is too foggy to search through my fragmented thoughts to connect them successfully through my limited vocabulary. I did come up with hippocampus though. I am proud of that.

I want to be sitting on the beach at Tenaya Lake, eating overpriced soft serve that tastes like water from the Tuolumne Meadow's Store.

Spring Break

So it is a lovely 78 degrees outside on my Easter Vaca (I know it is Spring Break, I still call it Easter) and I am spending three hours of my day tutoring math in a library. It is surprising how much more work it takes to tutor in math. There is more preperation and work that you have to have lined up. There is a definite answer if they don't get it you go over it with them until they do, then you have to give them more work. My usual approach to tutoring is as follows: Here is some work for you to do, while you do it I am going to post on my blog and look at magazines or read a book. Then I will look at what you have done to see if it is right while you play a math game on the computer. Three freaking hours of math. Reading is so much easier you can easily eat away an hour of reading and discussing a book, creative writing.
Well I am sure that is interesting.
I want to be at the beach. Or sitting on my parents porch with a glass of ice tea, playing music that my dad hasn't heard (and likes) while my mom walks by with her fingers in her ears asking me to turn it down. This post is boring, I apologize

"Storming"

So I am once again not working today, on account of the fact that it is "storming." I have never heard the word storm being used as a verb but I like the sound of it. The funny thing is that after my kids mom called I couldn't sleep any more due to the fact the the sky was so blue and the sun was shining so brightly into my room. Ahh Well. I am going to try and see if perhaps my SES cases would like to double up on time since they did not show yesterday.
Anyways, I think that I want to make people laugh. I like laughing, i like to make other people laugh too. Laughing is good for you. Did you know that children laugh about 500 times a day where as adults laugh a measly 15 times per day. No wonder we all feel like crap. That fact is not funny, sorry. I have already failed at my calling. You know the saying "If you don't have anything nice to say don't say it at all" (which I use quite frequently at school) Well I am officially chaning it to my life Motto: "If you don't have anything funny to say, don't say anything at all."

p.s. unless it is my closest friends and then you get to hear everything, yeah
